Sine there is no cartridge to clean, this system is very low maintenance. In addition to a rugged filter tank, it is powered by a 1/4 hp pump. You will be impressed by the flow rate in your pool and its quiet efficient operation. Ideal for above ground pools 7,500 gallons or less including intex pools. Hydrotools sand filter system includes filter tank, valve, pressure gauge. (hose adapters may be required, depending on your current hose configuration). Base, (2) 6′ filter hoses, and 1/4 horsepower motor. 4-way valve (filter, backwash, rinse & waste). Design flow: 30 gpm (gallons per minute).
