Alford & Lynch Pool Filter Cartridge for Pleatco PAP150-4 Clean & Clear 150 R173216 59054300 Filbur FC-0687, Pentair 590543. Designed for maximum water flow to extend cartridge life. Designed for even dirt distribution resulting in increased water flow. Increased flow rates results in less wear on pump & reduced energy usage. Banded Pleats reduce frequency of cartridge cleaning. All Alford & Lynch filters use 100% Taipeng Trilobal Filtration Fabic which is a superior reinforced polyester. The filter has a large filtration area and dirt holding capacity. The strong inner core which includes a centre support for extra strength and durability assures a high pressure resistance. We use high impact end caps which resist chlorine degradation. Stretch and break-resistant pleat bands, and uniformly placed weld sport, make the filtration fabric stronger. Replace your filter when the pressure gauge on your filter tank reaches 8 psi above the pressure recorded when first installed. Turn off the power to your pump and bleed the excess air pressure of the system using the air valve on the filter. Remove any band clamps and/or lids to your filter. Remove the cartridge from the filter canister and dislodge any loose debris. Rinse the cartridge thoroughly with clean fresh water and return it to the filter tank.
