This is a Genuine Pleatco PFS1836-EC Diatomaceous Earth – DE Grid Pool Filter. We use woven polypropylene resins to assure the highest strength and to maximize filtration. To increase durability, we use a chemical resistant 4-ply thread on evey seam. The bottom seam is over-stitched to provide even more durability. Our frame is lightweight and built with a reinforced center tube. This tube provides for greater flow coverage and it has a unique snap lock feature.
