The 1/2HP sand filter pump in our product line offers efficient performance, providing a large water flow of up to 2641 gallons per hour, resulting in fast water circulation speed. It is designed to cycle the entire pool in a short amount of time, ensuring clean and safe swimming experience. With its double reinforced 12-inch molded tank, this sand filter can hold up to 28 pounds of sand, making it ideal for pools up to 8000 gallons. Sand can last up to approximately 5 years of use before replacement, depending on the water chemistry and proper backwashing frequency. It is recommended to use 20# sand. This cleaner for above-ground pools features an easy-to-operate 6-position rotary valve for optimal cleaning efficiency. The valve options include filter, rinse, circulation, recirculation, close, and winterize, ensuring that you have all the options you need to keep your pool clean and well-maintained. The copper wire motor is built with overload protection for long-lasting running and longer service life. The reinforced thermoplastic housing is portable and corrosion-proof, ensuring that it can serve the promotion of clean water quality all day long.
