Rx Clear Radiant Sand Filter w/ Black Luster Balls (Various Sizes). The Rx Clear® Radiant Sand Filter features a high-capacity sand filter that catches debris and extends filter cycles. The filter is designed to handle the filtration of your pool water with its one-piece blow-molded tank that includes a skirt/base for the filter only. The included black luster media is economically friendly and lightweight. Made with absorption and optimal filtering in mind the luster media can filter down to 3-5 microns while the traditional sand filter can filter down to 20 microns. This media only needs to be replaced every 5 years and is similar to charcoal as it absorbs all the chlorine smell and taste from your pool’s water. A pea gravel base is recommended with the use of this product. Note: The 16″, 19″ and 22″ filter tanks are for above ground pools and the 24″ tank is for an inground pool. Blow molded filter tank.
