Wide Compatibility? Compatible with selected Hayward SwimClear cartridge filters, ProGrid D. Also fits earlier compatible models using the DEX2421JKIT clamp system. Verify your model before ordering. Replacement Numbers? This DEX2421JKIT clamp assembly replaces DEX2420J, DEX2420J1, and DEX2421J on compatible filter systems. Durable & Secure? Includes the DEX2421JKIT tension-control filter tank clamp, bolt-and-nut hardware, and a DEX2422Z2 metal-reinforced tank seal. When properly installed, this Hayward-compatible clamp assembly helps hold the upper and lower filter bodies firmly together, maintain a secure seal, and reduce the risk of water leakage. Straightforward Installation? Turn off the pump and power, release all filter pressure, clean the tank sealing surfaces, install the reinforced seal onto the lower tank body, then position the upper tank and clamp. Tighten the nut with a 3/4-inch socket and torque wrench to 150 in-lb (17 N·m). Do not lubricate the DEX2422Z2 seal. Pre-sales, we help you choose the right part and confirm compatibility.
