The pool pump filter maintains a clean and hygienic swimming pool by pumping water through a filter cartridge, sifting out detritus and pumping it back again. Inlet and outlet points are used to attach two separate hoses to the pool pump. Each hose is then connected to a different access point on the swimming pool. The inlet hose pumps water into the swimming pool filter system, sending it through a 4.2in x 5.4in filter cartridge at a rate of 530gal (2,006L) per hour. The filter cartridge clears the water of filth and pumps it back into the pool via the outlet hose. Durable clamps are used to secure the hoses so that they dont come off, flopping around like worms and blasting a powerful jet of water at your ankles. Both the hoses and the 4.2in x 5.4in filter cartridge are included with the Bestway pool filter pump. The filter cartridge is an integral part of the swimming pool filtration system and, during periods of prolonged use, will need to be replaced at least every two weeks. Without a fully functional filter cartridge your above ground pool will rapidly turn from a reasonably filthy space to an unbearable cesspit.
