Pleatco PFS1836 Replacement 36 Sq. Swimming Pool DE Grid Set For Hayward, Jandy, Pentair, Waterway, American, Pac-Fab, Astral In-Ground Filter / Replaces Unicel FS-2003 & Filbur FC-9530. Pleatco replacement DE Grids are constructed with a special reinforced center tube which creates a duct to funnel water from the outer most edges of the grid into the center and through the entire frame. The Pleatco design minimizes the amount of tension placed on the fabric giving it a longer life and requiring less energy to filter water. All of our grids are made with Pleatco Unique Filtration Fabric – a high performance woven polypropylene that contains only virgin resins to assure the highest strength and to maximize filtration. The Pleatco unique design increases the bond (snap together feature) between the different sections. Pleatco s “snap lock” feature keeps the sections from coming apart during filtration when significant torsion is created while water is in motion. Seams are stitched by our product team experts with a chemical resistant heavy 4 ply thread. Pleatco DE Grids are engineered to outperform and outlast any other. Grid set includes (qty 7) full size grids, and (qty 1) half size grid. Material: Woven polypropylene resins to assure the highest strength and to maximize filtration. Stronger, more durable frames outlast the competition; reinforced frames and connections. 100 percent polypropylene cloth finished to our exact standards assures precise control of filtration efficiency, dirt holding and decake release. Fewer glue joints and re-enforced spines increase the torsional strength and prevent snapping. Grid features 100 percent polypropylene cloth, uses a higher denier and different weave pattern, which allows for better control of the fabrics permeability. Polypropylene is also rot and mildew resistant and has excellent resistance to alkalis and acids. Filbur grids had better dirt holding characteristics and lower pressure drop than the competition.
