Turn Off the Pump & Drain the System – Before starting, ensure the pool pump is off and drain any water from the filter system to prevent leaks. Remove the Old Valve – Disconnect the plumbing lines and unscrew the unions attaching the old valve to the filter. Install the New Valve – Secure the new valve onto the filter, reconnect the plumbing, and ensure all connections are tight. Test the System – Turn the pump back on, check for leaks, and ensure the valve is functioning correctly. The high volume, low pressure Cyclone pool liner vac and pool line blower is powerful enough to set large in-ground liners and blow-out pool plumbing in minutes – even 10 deep main drains are no match for the Cyclone pool line blower! Use duct tape to seal up around the hose. Turn on the vacuum and within minutes, even the largest in-ground or above ground pool liners will suck tightly against the pool walls and floors to eliminate wrinkles before filling.

Leave the Cyclone Liner Vac running until the pool water level is 4-6 deep across the entire pool. From the skimmer, blow air to other skimmers and out of the main drain by sealing at the pump. Rotate your valves to direct water into the pump, filter and heater, removing drain plugs. Moving to Florida with cement pool, will not need this any more. There is a bit of residue at the blower connection from duct tape that was used to connect a vac-tube (see my other listing). I just did not want to take the time to get it off. This is a great deal.
