The combination water and sand drain makes servicing and winterizing fast and easy. Pentair’s Sand Dollar SD 40 Pool Filter comes complete with 6-way 1.5 valve and a 1.5HP Opti-Flo Pump. Pentair’s unique, patented process creates a one-piece, non-corrosive tank with superior strength and durability. The Sand Dollar SD40 filter features a clamp style, six-position multiport valve. Special lateral design provides superior flow characteristics and long filter cycles for economical operation. Pentair sand filters are among the simplest filters manufactured by Pentair. Ideal for above ground pools up to 30′ round and 18′x40′ oval.
