We recommend changing these filters every 6 days if using chlorine, but they can last much much longer if you use bromine, Check filter condition daily. To prolong the life cycle, please wash your filters every day in warm soapy water, It is very important to only use the filter whilst you have correct chemical balance in the tub. If your water is over chlorinated the filters with naturally decompose. DO NOT use when shock treating your hot tub. Bromine/Chroline are both suitable. Discolouration may occur depending on brand of chemicals used and/or chemical imbalance, filter operation is not affected by this so please dont worry, chlorine is a bleaching agent. (We try to keep the ducks included in every package but due to ongoing situation in the UK we are struggling to get stock, Ducks are a gift if included and not part of this listing).
